The memory card
Today the electronic saving of image data has been established as an alternative to photographic film material. When pictures are processed digitally they first have to be transformed into a computer conform, numeric calculable depiction.
A picture element is defined as a pixel. The pixel is formed out of a grid of square fields,
also called a picture matrix. In exploring this exercise, I focused on the graffiti in Basel,
forming a composition of the street art scene in the city.
